1. Aṭakibā (ଦେ.କ୍ରି.) - ଗତି କରୁ କରୁ ବନ୍ଦ ହେବା; ରହିଯିବା To come to a standstill; to stop.
2. କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଲାଖିବା To stick to a place.
3. ଅଗ୍ରସର ନ ହେବା Not to advance further.
4. ଅବରୁଦ୍ଧ ହେବା; ବାଧା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବା To be restrained or obstructed.
5. କୌଣସି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସ୍ଥଗିତ ହେବା ବା ଅଚଳ ହେବା To be stopped; not to proceed. (
6. ଦେହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାୟୁ ବା ପବନ କୌଣସିଠାରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇ ରହି ଏଣେତେଣେ ଗତି ନ କରିବା Not to circulate.
7. ନିଜର ଗତି ବନ୍ଦ କରିବା To cease motion.
8. ଏଣିକିତେଣିକି ନ ଯିବା; ନ ଚଙ୍କିବା Not to move.
9. କୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇ ରହିବା To be detained at a place.
10. କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିବାକୁ ଅଶକ୍ତ ହେବା; ଅବଶ ହେବା To become stiff; to be incapable of action.

1. Aṭaṅkā (ଦେ.ବି.) - ହାତର ପ୍ରସାରିତ ମୁଠା (ଏକ ଆଡ଼େ ବୁଢ଼ା ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠି ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଆଡ଼େ ବିଶି ବା ମଝି ଆଙ୍ଗୁଠିଦ୍ୱାରା ପରିବେଷ୍ଟିତ ସ୍ଥାନ) ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯେତିକି ଧାନଗଛ ବା ଘାସ ସମ୍ଭାଏ ସେହି ପରିମାଣ So much paddy plants or grass as can be held by the extended thumb and middle fingers.

 [ ଦ୍ର ] ଧାନ କଟାଳିମାନେ ଦାଆଦ୍ୱାରା ପୁଞ୍ଜାଏ ପୁଞ୍ଜାଏ ଧାନଗଛ କାଟି ମୁଠାରେ ଧରୁଥାଆନ୍ତି। ଏପରି ଧରୁ ଧରୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଅଟଙ୍କାଏ ହୋଇଯାଏ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତାକୁ ଭୂଇଁରେ ଥୋଇଦିଅନ୍ତି; ପୁଣି ଧାନ କାଟିବାରେ ଲାଗନ୍ତି।

1. Aṭajaṭa (ଗ୍ରା.ବି.) -ଅସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ ବାକ୍ୟ; ପ୍ରଳାପ Raving; incoherent speech.
2. ଅମୂଳକ ଅପବାଦ Unfounded aspersion; defamation.
3. ଅଜଟ ବା ଅବୁଝା କଥା; ଜିଗର Importunity; unreasonable words.
4. (ଗ୍ରା.ବିଣ.)  ଏକବାଗିଆ; ଏକଜିଦିଆ Stubborn; obdurate; self-willed.
5. ଅସମ୍ବନ୍ଧ (ବାକ୍ୟ) Incoherent (Speech).

1. Aṭajaṭiā (ଗ୍ରା.ବିଣ.) - ଅଜଟିଆ; ଏକଜିଦିଆ Obstinate.
2. ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମରେ ମିଥ୍ୟା ଅପବାଦ ରଟନାକାରୀ Spreading unfounded aspersions or scandal against a person.
